Please read these terms carefully before using our services

Stone Global Logistics – Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: June 2025

By engaging Stone Global Logistics (SGL), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern all shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics services provided by SGL.


1. Services Provided

Stone Global Logistics offers:

  • Air freight forwarding

  • Logistics coordination

  • Customs documentation assistance

  • Cargo tracking and management

Services are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.


2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete shipment information

  • Ensure all goods comply with applicable laws and airline regulations

  • Pay all fees and charges in full and on time


3. Rates & Payment

  • All rates are quoted in JMD (Jamaican Dollar), exclusive of taxes and duties unless otherwise stated.

  • Full payment must be received before shipment is dispatched, unless credit terms are approved in writing.

  • Invoices not paid within the agreed time frame may incur late fees.


4. Customs Clearance

  • Stone Global Logistics can assist with customs paperwork but is not responsible for delays, penalties, or confiscation caused by inaccurate information or prohibited items.

  • You are responsible for paying all duties, taxes, and fees imposed by customs authorities.


5. Prohibited & Restricted Items

SGL does not accept:

  • Illegal goods (e.g., narcotics, counterfeit products)

  • Hazardous materials without prior notice and clearance

  • Perishable goods without special arrangements


6. Liability & Insurance

  • Stone Global Logistics’ liability for loss or damage is limited to the standard rates set by the applicable air carrier or regulatory body unless additional insurance is purchased.

  • We strongly recommend that clients purchase cargo insurance for full coverage.

  • SGL is not liable for delays caused by weather, government actions, customs holds, or third-party carriers.


7. Delays & Force Majeure

SGL is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver due to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, war, governmental restrictions, or other events beyond our control.


8. Claims

  • Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.

  • Claims must include supporting documentation and photographs, where applicable.


9. Termination

SGL reserves the right to refuse or cancel services at any time due to non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.


10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes shall be resolved through the Jamaican courts.
